HELLO, I’M CHRISTIAN
Story Strategist and Mentor
Here I am. It’s important to orient myself to you in a way that shows who I am so that we can get acquainted with one another. First, my name is Christian. Unusual for a woman I know. But the older I get the more I love and appreciate the strength of it. And it’s uniquely mine. You can read more about the story of my name here.
Second, I am a Story Strategist and Mentor. I’m good with words. I believe that a single phrase can change your life. But finding the right words can be tricky- paralyzing even. It’s tricky because people often don’t understand who they truly are and why their story matters.
I am very good at digging into your story and mapping out the patterns, sequences and metaphors that
explain precisely who you are and why you do the work that you do.
I’m a map maker.I connect the dots in your life experience so that you can see the full constellation of your brilliance. As an introvert, I like to go deep.
My motto is: Your story is more valuable than you realize.
My work is bespoke, intuitive, relational and strategic.
Currently, I run a story mentoring program for business owners, CEOs, coaches, healers and visionaries. I’m a blend of Professor Minerva McGonagall of Hogwarts and Mrs. Peregrine of the Home for Peculiar Children. I like teaching people how to sort themselves and their work out.
I believe in expediency, kindness and telling the truth (especially to and about ourselves). Professionally, my background is: HR Consulting, Communication Strategy, Writer and Mentor.
My influences are Joseph Campbell, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Anthony Bourdain, Mike Rowe, Cheryl Strayed, Maya Anglou, Carl Jung; Sandra Cisneros, Denise Chaves, Amy Tan, Jhumpa Lahiri, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Viktor Frankl, hearty chefs and home cooks and artists of all kinds.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Cambridge College with a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Conflict Management. My work has been published in Holistic Fashionista Magazine and InfusionSoft.com.

If you want to know my lineage, it is this: I am first a first generation American. My mother was born in Scotland and I have mostly Scottish, followed by German, French and Scandinavian ancestry. I grew up with a loving, Peter Pan-like father who always makes me feel like I am the most special person in the room.
I am a linguist at heart. I love the nuance of language, custom and culture. So much beauty and deepness in phrases and words that don’t translate directly to English. I find that the understanding comes from the bloom of emotion rather than cognition.
I’m very calm. I maintain the ability to stay steady in almost any circumstance. One of the benefits of growing up in a turbulent household is that rather than focusing on the different components of the chaos, I embraced and learned to navigate through the uncertain territory.
I see this as one of my greatest gifts- seeing the entire landscape and then identifying the psychic markers that map out the terrain.

I do a lot of deep listening in my work and often discern different messages that come through for you in real time. I have done a lot of study around narrative intelligence, storytelling and communication.
Reframing and rephrasing is a specialty of mine.
I am a hearth keeper. My family and I live in a fairly rural suburb in Florida where you will find me in the kitchen making the tastiest meals from scratch, the more ingredients and technique required the better. I’m obsessed with clean laundry and love the ritual of sorting and folding freshly dried clothing into neat stacks for my family.
