Marsha Shandur is a Networking Mentor – which is a fancy way of saying she helps grown-ups make friends. As the founder of Yes Yes Marsha.com, she shows freelancers and entrepreneurs how to build meaningful business and career connections that move their career forward faster – and that feel like real friendships…because they are.
Throughout her career as a radio host, podcaster, music supervisor for hit TV shows, and the kind of person who does things like running solo marathons, she has featured on the BBC, CBC, Xfm and The Guardian.

I came across Marsha Shandur of YesYesMarsha about a year or so ago and was so impressed with the advice she provides about learning how connect with people be it through networking, email or social media on her site that I immediately signed up for her newsletter. Marsha provides simple, yet powerful techniques that really work. I use them all the time and share her advice with everyone I know.
Best of all? Marsha takes the “ick” out of networking, especially for introverts. She even provides scripts that you can use! How awesome is that?
Like me, Marsha is a self-identified introvert and a great storyteller. I am really excited to share my interview with her below. She uses humor and honest examples from her own life to show us time-tested ways to feel comfortable at networking events or meetings. You will seriously nod your head when you hear about her experiences. I could see myself in almost all of them!
Marsha shares a TON of information in this interview and she very generously created a page on her site where she lists all of the resources she mentioned, including her own awesome video blogs.
She is offering FREE 15 minute, no pitch sessions where you get your networking or communication questions answered. Grab one of these before they are gone.
Watch the interview, I promise you will love what she has to say!
