I'm Christian, a Intuitive Business Coach and Storyteller. I help business owners learn how to communicate their value and find the right hook so they can effectively get their message across to the world.
Chances are you are hear because you would love to be able to tell your story in a way that makes you feel good, clear and confident.
When I first started my business, I thought I had landed on the ideal niche for me: Coaching Introverted Professionals.
As an introvert myself, I knew what it took to successfully navigate a career in corporate HR and wanted to help other people do the same. All of my family and friends were totally excited for me. So I hung out my shingle, put up a website and started reaching out to introverted professionals. I garnered lots of fans on Facebook and interested people on social media but ...ZERO paying clients.
Ironically, I was connecting with already successful introverts who didn’t need career advice. So I started asking what they needed help with. In almost every instance, I was told that what they really needed help with was how to talk about themselves in ways that felt good, confident and natural.
This was the lightbulb moment.
But I still was hesitant... this information was great but how would I be helping people??
I paid for LOTS of coaching and courses trying to figure it all out. Nothing was making sense to me at the time. Fed up I just MADE myself shut off all the noise and sit still.
When I was able to finally quiet my chattering mind, I distinctly received this message: "You are going to help people tell their stories".
I knew that I was really great at helping other people reframe their own stories in a positive way. I did his daily in my old HR job.
So I put together a beta offer to an on-line networking group that I trusted saying that I would help business owners tell their story that they could then use as copy on their site, in marketing materials or as a script when talking to prospective clients or customers.
The limit was 4 people and within 24 hours all 4 spots were booked!!
I remember turning to my poor dog Maggie and screeching "Your mommy is figuring this stuff out!" (She's used to this unfortunately :-).)
Not only was I thrilled with the response but I after meeting with these 4 women business owners I discovered that I was really good at helping them tell their story. Each one was amazed to find what I uncovered for them, how valuable their work was and cool new ways to position themselves.
It was much more than words for them. It was me teaching them how to talk about themselves in a way that was clear and confident. It was the realization that they were hiding talent and experiences that totally applied to their businesses and they could monetize them.
Helping business owners tell their story totally transformed my business. I went from zero paying clients to booking clients from all over the world.
I now know that strategic and authentic storytelling is proven to help businesses grow.
YOU have to be able to connect the dots to tell your story.
YOU have to be the one to tap into the core of who you are before anyone can receive your message.
PR, Copy, Marketing are all important but you have to be the one who totally gets it FIRST.
I know because that was ME. I wasn't able to connect the dots or accept my gifts no matter how much coaching or advice I received until I reached out for help.
And because I was afraid to listen.
I was afraid to accept that the work I do is real and powerful.
And your work is too.
When I looked back at the very first VIP day I invested in and reviewed my notes?
It was all right there. Written in gold ink no less. I just couldn't see it.
Chances are you already know what you are good at but just don’t know how to describe it.

Tips and tricks to write and tell your own story
Raised in Connecticut and naturally introverted, I was often called "shy" by family and teachers simply because I liked to be quiet.
Oral book reports were a nightmare for me. Anything that required me to really be seen felt really uncomfortable.
And life is a wonderful teacher because little by little I started to learn how to speak up for myself.
I became angry whenever someone tried to speak for me or made assumptions about me.
The older I got, the stronger my voice became.
And then my name. Christian.
Thanks parents! That's a boys name.
Or so I was told, over and over. People would always mispronounce my name constantly even though it's not difficult to pronounce. To avoid the embarrassment of correcting the person I truncated my name to simply "Chris" when I was in middle school. So for years, that's what people outside of my family called me.
It wasn't until I launched by business in 2012 that I decided to take back my full name.
It feels good and strong to me and as soon as I claimed it I felt this flicker of recognition of my true self.
This is when I began to connect my gifts of intuition, writing and business savvy into a brand new business.
I always knew I would start my own business.
From an entrepreneurial perspective, I set out thinking that as a "coach" I should be coaching introverted professionals. What I discovered was that what people really needed help with was how to talk about themselves in ways that felt good, that felt powerful.
I am great at helping people see what they couldn't ordinarily. Clarity comes surprisingly quickly and I can usually start framing out stories right away.
Story has been at the center of my life for as long as I remember. I'm an avid reader and devour the stories of different cultures. I love experiencing different perspectives and what is meaningful from one person to another.
My pleasure is helping business owners tell their Story in graceful ways that honor the parts that need to be told. I love it primarily because it feels natural, to see the stories that emerge after a little intense conversation.
After working with clients in a variety of industries in disciplines- coaches, book publishers, social media experts, web designers, media mavens, photographers, filmmakers- even IT professionals, I know this one thing to be true:
Telling your story strategically is your positioning power.
More About Me
:: I am an artist at heart with tons of business experience. As a classic introvert, two of my strengths are observation and reflection both of which lend themselves very well to writing.
:: I have over 17 years of experience working for large financial services firms as a former HR Manager.
:: I take the seemingly ordinary experiences of your life and arrange them in a way that beautifully aligns with how you want your Story to reflect your brilliance. I pick out things you would have previously never noticed and bring them into light.
I believe your Story is a powerful connector. Your Story helps illuminate your uniqueness and makes you inherently relatable. Telling your story is what makes you real.
The term "Brand" alone to me feels utterly one-dimensional and cold; a skeleton without flesh. Stories add flesh to the bone, layer by layer until the warmth of recognition is achieved.
Telling your Story can change everything.
I merged my creative writing side with my business acumen and created this business that I love.
I launched my own practice after 12 years as a successful HR Professional working in Financial Services. I successfully grew my career from Administrative Assistant to Acting HR Director, always on my own terms and by refusing to believe the stories I was told about who I "should" be in the world.
I take the gold from your personal story to craft your powerful Brand Story.
